Server Rules

• Generally speaking, please act with common sense. Do not do anything that ruins others’ enjoyment of the server. We’re here to have a good time.

• Do not spam the chat with unnecessary messages.

• Do not grief. Griefing includes, but is not limited to:

  • Destroying something another player built.

  • Killing another player’s villagers or animals.

  • Building too close to another person’s buildings to the point where it would interfere with their plans (even if you aren’t breaking/killing anything).

  • Building inside or nearby the spawn areas in a way that obstructs them.

• If griefing occurs accidentally (such as a creeper blowing up), you must make a reasonable effort to fix it or replace anything that was lost.

• Do not purposefully crash or lag the server in any way.

  • Do not build any structure whose purpose is griefing or causing lag.

• Do not use third-party software to cheat or gain an unfair advantage over others.

  • Some examples of cheats are x-ray, speed, reach, and fly hacks. OptiFine and other similar mods are not considered cheats.

• Do not build anything overly indecent or obscene.

• The server admins have the final say in all situations, however, that doesn’t mean they’re always right. Bans/punishments may be challenged through the Matrix chat, or you may contact NextPancake401.

Welcome to the HomeDataRoom Official 7 Days to Die Server; a PVP survival server in the Midwest/Eastern US. Survive, thrive, and strive to be the best in the wasteland. Build relationships with other players or fight to the death against the living and undead. 

The server does not have a bunch of complex or annoying rules; but the catch is, the server resets to a default state every 6 months, starting on 1/1/2024. The server also reboots at 12AM and 12PM every day to ensure stability and low delay/lag.

Server Rules

• No hacking or exploiting the game/server.

• No x-raying.

• No flying/cheating.

• No impersonating/pretending to be administration.

• No using third party applications to exploit the game.

• No duplicating.

• No harassing one specific player or group.

• No lagging the server intentionally.

• No preventing new players from being able to play.

You are allowed to build inside of POIs; just don't get salty if someone resets the POI with a trader quest.

You are allowed to build somewhat close to traders, just don't get salty if someone kills you, your crew, destroys your area, etc.

You are allowed to block, build onto, or use the roads for your own purposes.

You are allowed to destroy looting containers, POIs, other people's creations, etc.; just don't get carried away or get salty if it happens back.
